A meeting with your being's innate intelligence, in warm water.

LiquidCosmos offers trainings, sessions and research in warm water — precise tools to accompany individual and relational life processes with presence, care and depth, supporting self-knowledge, balance and embodied awareness through aquatic bodywork and somatic re/des-education.

The body as an interconnected living system.

The methodology is rooted in embodiment and integration — from cellular intelligence to the full spectrum of body systems and their layers, studied experientially and anatomically, in relation to touch, movement, perception, emotion and states of consciousness.

A sensitive, investigative pedagogy. Learning unfolds through touch, movement, contact, guided experiences, imagery, personal inquiry and group research — investigating developmental movement patterns within the buoyancy of warm water.

Care for both bodies. Trainings transmit highly refined technical principles for safe, attuned and sustainable support in flotation and immersion — attending to the receiving body and to the practitioner's own posture, presence and healthy use of self, with grounding tools that carry the learning beyond the water.

Marina Sans

Her relationship with water began before birth. Marina developed in a womb of polyhydramnios: a higher-than-usual volume of amniotic fluid, offering greater buoyancy and freer movement. Her nervous system formed floating; it is the quality she has sought all her life for self-regulation, and now offers to others. Raised by the Mediterranean, immersion became her playground, an embodied feeling of belonging, freedom and wellbeing.

She learned to listen through a camera. Before dedicating herself fully to somatic practice, Marina worked as an anthropological documentary filmmaker — living alongside ancestral communities in Ethiopia and Kenya, and encountering water-rooted indigenous cosmologies in the Brazilian Amazon. Through the lens she chose to listen rather than direct; the same principle guides her sessions, where movement, perception and internal organisation are allowed to unfold from within.

Decades of movement research stand behind the work. Extensive training in Body-Mind Centering®, Contact Improvisation, Butoh and multiple aquatic bodywork disciplines, integrating anatomical precision with lived, perceptual experience. Today Marina teaches international aquatic somatic trainings and continues to work closely in one-to-one, couple and group sessions.

Be held by warm water.

A session is a somatic (re/des)education practice in warm water — a meeting with your being's innate intelligence.

Through refined touch, precise perception and deeply listening presence, each session becomes a space where movement, perception and internal intelligence are supported to reorganise naturally. Embodiment here is not a goal to achieve, but a remembering.
